Presentó a la Gerencia de Desarrollo Social una Propuesta Marco de una Política Regional de Inclusión Social
Anel Townsend Diez Canseco, visito el miércoles 28 de enero la ciudad de Huacho para reunirse con representantes del Gobierno Regional de Lima en su calidad de Presidenta del Centro Interamericano para la Gobernabilidad (CIG), organización no gubernamental que promueve el buen gobierno, los derechos de la mujer, y la inclusión social.
La reunión se realizo en las instalaciones de la Gerencia de Desarrollo Social del Gobierno Regional de Lima.
Anel Townsend-quien además se desempeña como consultora internacional en temas de género y transparencia de organismos internacionales como la OEA, el BID y el Banco Mundial-estuvo acompañada de la Directora Adjunta del CIG, la ex regidora de Lima Metropolitana, Olenka Ochoa, y de la Dra. Carola Sirvas, de la ONG CEDRO, para presentar la Propuesta Marco de una Política Regional de Inclusión Social, ante el Gobierno Regional de Lima.
La propuesta, tiene como base un plan de apoyo a políticas sociales que incluya el fortalecimiento institucional, la promoción de espacios de participación ciudadana, concertación, lucha contra la pobreza y capacitación de jóvenes en liderazgo, así como habilidades de producción y pequeños negocios.
“En el CIG somos conscientes de la realidad social de la Región Lima que se refleja en estadísticas como las correspondientes a la Provincia de Huaura, donde existe un 43 por ciento de niños de primaria con desnutrición crónica y en la que menos del 10 por ciento de la población tiene agua de red pública, según los informes del Gobierno Regional de Lima. Es por ese motivo que presentamos una propuesta de apoyo técnico al Gobierno Regional para su evaluación”, señaló la presidenta del CIG.

Ford is cooperating with the NHTSA investigation, spokesman Daniel Pierce said on Monday. "It's asking for information like they have done in the past with other vehicles, and we will be working with them throughout the investigation," Pierce said. Ford received a request for data from NHTSA on Monday and it is just starting to look into how many complaints have been made to company dealers, Pierce said.

In its investigation NHTSA will determine how many cars had the same parts and whether the problem is widespread enough to trigger a recall. So far none of the cars has been recalled. The Taurus and Sable are nearly identical and share almost all the same parts.
